Sunday, April 22, 2018 – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Meet at the gate to the Willis Evans Trail on Redwood Canyon Drive in San Geronimo.
Come celebrate California Native Plant Week with a visit to a special habitat. The ridge above the south side of the San Geronimo Valley is one of the great gems in the county. Wildflowers (including several serpentine endemics), a pygmy Sargent cypress forest, and incredible views are our reward for the sustained climb that will bring us to the top.
This hike is for ages 15 and up. It is a moderately strenuous walk with a sustained climb to the ridge and back, about 4 to 5 miles overall. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.
Wear: Hiking clothes and shoes, hat, sunscreen
Bring: Lunch, water, binoculars if you have them
Free No preregistration required
