Come out and help SPAWN volunteers at our very own Native Plant Nursery! We cultivate beautiful plants destined for restoration sites throughout West Marin—everything from native blackberries and grasses to majestic redwoods. Be a part of transforming habitat from the ground up!

Chicken Ranch Beach Restoration

The Tomales Bay Foundation is seeking volunteers to help plant and maintain 7500 nursery-grown native plants at the newly excavated wetland at Chicken Ranch Beach. Planting will be in accordance with detailed specifications.

On-site planting is scheduled most Wednesday and Saturday mornings during December 2025 and January 2026. Volunteer days are being coordinated by the SPAWN nursery. If you would like to volunteer you must sign up using the attached Doodle Calendar link to provide your name and contact info. Feel free the share your specific interest and/or and experience with steward@tomalesbayfoundatiion.org or khopper@tirn.net.
