Zoom Registration Link

Got weeds? Join speakers from the California Invasive Plant Council (Cal-IPC) to hear about invasive plants and what to do about them. They will cover:

How invasive plants are managed across the state,
New and existing online resources you can use to help manage invasive plants or prevent their introduction, and
How CNPS and other organizations like UC Master Gardeners play a crucial role in helping to stop the spread of invasive plants into wildlands.

Here is a document with many California Invasive Plant Council resources.

Constance Taylor is staff Conservation Specialist at Cal-IPC. She has over fifteen years of experience creating community nature programs, providing naturalist outreach, and developing adult-centered environmental education courses.

Jutta Burger is Cal-IPC Science Director. Her interests lie in understanding invasiveness from a biological, ecological, and evolutionary perspective, and in preserving our native ecosystems by properly prioritizing and implementing invasive control, developing native seed resources, and facilitating restoration. She previously served as Cal-IPC President and as Board Secretary.
