Tour the Larner Seeds Demonstration Garden and hear a short history of this 40-year-old native plant garden and seed company. With the passing of founder Judith Larner Lowry, Larner Seeds hope to maintain her legacy of place-based, habitat gardens–full of native grasses and annual wildflowers!

After the tour, we are welcome to eat our sack lunches and further enjoy the garden.

If you cannot make this tour, their regular hours are Tuesday and Thursday 10 am – 4 pm and Saturday 11 am – 3 pm.

There may be a detour clearly marked with big orange signs. Just follow the signs up the hill to Overlook Drive–turn right. Take a left on Elm Road (I’ll post a sign for Larner Seeds). Take a right on Grove Road (I’ll post another sign for Larner Seeds.) Park along Grove road (either side as there’s limited parking in front of the property).

Twila be by the front gate to greet people. We’ll meet on the patio for a brief talk on the history of the garden and Larner Seeds, tour the garden, and people are welcome to purchase seed or explore a bit more at the end of the tour. If people are running a few minutes late due to the detour, tell them not to worry.
