Hamilton’s Reservoir Hill

Oaks, Wetlands, and Views at Hamilton’s Reservoir Hill

Leader: Stacey Pogorzelski

Please sign up for this field trip on Meetup.   Participant limit = 10

We will hike up Reservoir Hill in the Hamilton area of Novato, admire 3 species of oaks, madrone, and other shrubs and trees. We will then descend to the Bay Trail, and check out the ongoing wetlands restoration and native plants in the Hamilton Wetlands, continuing on and looping back to our starting point. We may stop and add a plant or two to INaturalist and take a look at some native plant landscaping at The Landing office complex. Total distance is less than two miles.

Directions: Meet leader Stacey Pogorzelski in the parking lot at the corner of Palm Drive and South Palm Drive in Novato. Accessible by Marin Transit #49 and the SMART Train. Contact leader for questions about transit and the outing generally.
