Habitats for Butterflies provides scientifically informed resources for the development and maintenance of breeding habitats for all US butterflies including Monarchs. Susan’s research analyzes thousands of butterfly photographs to identify the preferred nectar plants of 750 US butterflies.

Her talk will cover how to establish a butterfly garden, develop habitat, and understand how butterflies locate and use a garden, along with some interesting facts about butterfly behaviors. She will share her expertise on which nectar plants attract local butterflies, what makes them choose your garden, and practical tips to transform your space into a butterfly paradise.
