This will be an easy, slow amble along a quiet neighborhood street, nearly level, to see a wide variety of grasses, native and exotic. A hand lens might come in handy to admire fine details, though we will not be keying the species.
Directions: Meet across the street from 105 Lagunitas Rd, Lagunitas. Lagunitas Rd is the last left off westbound Sir Francis Drake Blvd before Samuel P. Taylor State Park, and is just a little west of Arti’s Indian Café and the Lagunitas Store and Deli, where you may park, cross SFD and walk up Lagunitas Rd, or look for parking along the west side of Lagunitas Rd (there is a pullout on the right just after you cross the bridge over San Geronimo Creek with room for 3 cars). 105 Lagunitas is the 6th house on the left.
Bring: Water, a snack. Dress in layers. Rain cancels
