Conservation
California is a global treasure because of its native plants. No other state has as many species, and a third of those can’t be found anywhere else in the world! We are the voice for Marin’s native plants and places, whether that is a single species, a rare serpentine outcrop, or an entire ecosystem. We encourage you to get involved.

Why Native Plants Matter
Native plants support the food web, resist drought, and keep the planet healthy

Current Conservation Efforts
Current issues we are working on and ways you can get involved

Volunteer Opportunities
Help us pull weeds, plant natives, become a docent, and advocate at meetings

Dealing with Invasive Plants
Invasive species outcompete natives and crowd their habitats, causing species loss
