My field trip on 4/16/2015 to Bull Point for Native Plant week was well-attended.
There were 13 people and the weather was pleasantly warm and sunny. We saw many native plant species such as the rare sand gilia, Gilia millefoliata and the not so rare but beautiful blue camas lily, Camassia quamash ssp. breviflora. People are often amazed that so many kinds of wildflowers grow in this open, apparently-barren cow-grazed part of the Pt. Reyes National Seashore.
